Terms of Service

Last updated: June 5, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Kove (“the Service”), operated by Kove (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. User Accounts

You may create an account using an email and password, or through Google sign-in. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Kove.

3. Subscription Plans

Kove offers a Free plan (limited to 15 saved articles and 2 audio generations) and Pro plans (monthly and yearly) which unlock unlimited saves, unlimited audio generations, and priority access to new features. Plan details and pricing are described on our Pricing page.

4. Billing

Paid plans are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, sales tax, and chargebacks. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle’s buyer terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will keep Pro access until that date. See our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

Kove and its design, code, and brand assets are owned by us. Articles you save remain the property of their original authors and publishers. You retain all rights to content you save for personal use; Kove does not claim ownership of saved material.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer or scrape the Service; (b) use Kove to violate copyright or circumvent paywalls; (c) attempt to access another user’s account or data; (d) abuse audio generation, API endpoints, or other quotas; (e) use Kove for unlawful purposes.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that saved content will be permanently retained.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kove is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
